Training Skills for Health

The interactive training sessions have been designed to meet the needs of those providing training in the area of health, however many of these are generic skills transferable to different settings.

Whilst highly practical, the activities have been put together to enable participants to both appreciate and meet the needs of adult learners in their area.

Workshops are delivered one week apart, participants are expected to undertake some work between the two workshops and will undertake a mini presentation

The programme and activities can be tailored to take account of local need.

The 2 day workshop includes

· Theory of adult learning
· Knowing your audience,
· group work model, group dynamics
· Appealing to different learning styles
· Setting aims and objectives
· Developing training plans
· Presentation skills
· Designing training activities
· Resources
· Using equipment and aids
· Devising assessment tools
· Training evaluation and reports

Workshops delivered at your site:
Ł500 per delegate, (minimum 10, maximum 24)
